Q&E PPSU Fittings for Pexa Systems
PPSU fittings are made from special polymer - Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU).
Using PPSU pipe fittings to connect with PEX pipe are characterized by high impact strength, high temperature resistance(up to +170 ° C) and exposure to aggressive environments. Like other plastic products, PPSU is not subject to corrosion. PPSU compounds are also UV resistant and sediments of mineral substances dissolved in water.
Various types of PPSU products are widely used in food processing equipment(dairy machines, filtration panels, heat exchangers) and for medical components products subject to repeated cleaning and sterilization: attachments for endoscopic holders surgical devices, handles for dental and surgical instruments.
Such modern plastics are successfully replacing metals, providing significant economic- the range of traditional materials, energy resources, labor costs and operating costs. Our PPSU pipe fittings are designed for using in cold and hot water supply, radiator and underfloor heating systems.
Specifications of PPSU fittings:
• maximum allowable working pressure: 10 bar;
• test pressure is 16 bar;
• maximum permissible temperature of the transported medium: 95 ° С;
• service life: 50 years (subject to the temperature conditions given in GOST 32415-2013);
• melting point +170 ° C;
