Product Description
Our PEX-a (cross-linked polyethylene) pipes are made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and have excellent chemical, corrosion, temperature and pressure resistance. Meanwhile it has achieved an average 84% of cross-linking degree during the manufacturing process, which is higher than the average degree in this sector. Our PE-Xa pipe has been exported to many countries and recognized by more and more user all over the world.
The cross-linking technology in a generic way means a process through which Polyethylene molecules get links between the polyethylene chains that provide high resistance to pressure and temperature. This makes polyethylene reticulated a material especially suitable for making pipes that can handle water circulation at high pressures and high temperatures up to 95°C.
Pex EVOH Pipe has an external coating of oxygen barrier, which can effectively prevent diffusion of oxygen molecules into the water through walls of the pipe. This feature prevents corrosion of cast iron components in the system (circulator pumps, air purgers, fill valves, boiler heating elements, etc.) and allows using it in hot water hydronic heating applications, including baseboard/radiator heating, fan coils, and radiant floor heating applications.

PEX expansion fittings also referred to as "cold expansion", uses the expansion methods for connecting PEX tubing and fittings. The method advised by ASTM (F1960 standard specification) - uses a PEX expansion ring with a larger diameter pipe. An outer plastic sleeve is overlapped at the end of the pipe, expanded to insert a fitting.
This fitting system aids in stronger bonds by creating a water-tight seal. It makes the fittings stronger over time, which is due to its amazing shape memory.
PEX crimp fittings use a copper ring, insert fitting, and a PEX pipe. The copper ring sits on the end of the pipe, and the insert fitting goes into the pipe.
The method is specified by ASTM (F1807 - metal insert fittings and F2159 - plastic insert fittings). PEX can be installed behind the walls and is approved for direct burial within concrete and soil outdoors.
PEX crimp fittings are an easy, fast, and comparatively inexpensive method of installation. The tools used for PEX fittings are readily available in the market. However, you would need to buy the right tools according to the PEX types and sizes.
