Product Description
PE-Xa barrier pipe suitable for use in Underfloor Heating and Wall Hung Radiator systems. Ideal for fitting to castellated panels or direct to insulation the PE-Xa pipe can be easily bent into position and held in place with clips.
Three layer barrier pipe with EVOH oxygen barrier outer layer and PE-Xa inner layer. Easy to bend and secure for Under Floor Heating pipework. Suitable for use in general heating applications, maximum temperature 95oC, 6 bar maximum pressure.

Pipe Structure:
Constructed of an inner layer of PE-Xa, an adhesive layer and an outer oxygen barrier layer of EVOH. This gives a higher temperature rating than the Alpert multilayer pipe at 95oC and 6 bar.
The EVOH layer prevents permeation of oxygen through the tubing which eliminates corrosion of the metal components in a heating system
- The penetration rate of our PE-Xa EVOH pipe with three barrier layers is <0.1g/(d.m)3 much lower than national standards;
- Such an Anti-oxygen layer can effectively prevent oxygen from entering piping system, and protect metal fittings in the system from rapid corrosion, and ensure water quality freshly and cleanly;
- PEX-a pipe can bear extreme temperature difference from - 20ºC to +95ºC, and keep heat conductivity coefficient be 0.4W/m.k.
- Having smoother inner and outer surface, much lower fluid resistance and fluid noise;
- PE-Xa with oxygen barrier layer can make pipes be more abrasion resistant and greatly increase the service life of the pipe.
